We do more than just check the length and wattage. We look at the spectral output. If your original Sidel part is spec’d for 230V/1500W, we build to that exact tolerance. Why? Because it keeps the heat flux steady across the whole zone. Generic replacements often create “hot spots” that ruin your consistency. We don’t do that. To handle the brutal, rapid heating and cooling of high-speed PET blowing, we use high-purity quartz glass. We also added a halogen cycle to stop the tungsten filament from evaporating too fast. Installation is easy. No rewiring, no modifications, no stress. Whether you’re dealing with a standard R7s or a specific Sidel pin setup, our lamps have the exact same footprint. You just pop them in and go. One quick tip, though: these high-wattage shortwave lamps put out an intense amount of heat. For them to actually work, your oven reflectors need to be spotless. If they’re dirty, they’ll fight the lamp’s output. You’ll end up cranking the power to compensate, which just burns out the tube faster. Keep them clean.
