A Few Things to Watch Out For
Now, this kind of concentrated heat is powerful, but you have to treat it with a bit of respect. Because the energy is so focused, you can get “hot spots” if your reflectors are dirty or crooked. This is where the upkeep comes in. Keep those quartz tubes clean. If flour or grease builds up on the glass, the lamp starts absorbing its own heat instead of sending it outward.
