A Few Things to Watch For During Install
If you’re swapping out old electric strips, these are a great drop-in replacement. They’re smaller and way more precise. But a quick heads-up on the wiring: infrared lamps are power-hungry. If you’re putting in a row of five or six units, don’t just plug them into whatever is nearby. You’ll need to make sure your breakers and cable gauges can handle the load. If you overload the circuit, you’ll see voltage drops, and your lamps will burn out way faster than they should. Get the wiring right, and you’ve got a space that feels cozy the second you step into it.
