We built these workshop ceiling infrared heaters for one simple reason: to get heat exactly where you need it, when standard HVAC just can’t cut it. Ever face that headache—how do you keep a humid bathroom or damp workshop warm, without risking safety? It comes down to the heating lamp itself, not just the housing.
Getting to the Good Stuff
Here’s the thing: our heaters run on a 400V high-voltage supply. That means we can send power farther with less current. So your wiring can be thinner, and you save on copper during installation. We pack 2500W of heat into a 300mm tube. That’s a lot of power in a small space—ideal when you need to warm a specific zone fast, without overhauling the whole building.
What’s Inside
At the core is a halogen-filled quartz tube. Quartz handles the shock of turning on and off again and again way better than regular glass. And the halogen gas keeps the filament strong, so the lamp lasts longer. The tube is coated to keep emissivity steady and to add a second line of defense against moisture. For the electrical connection, we use an R7s ceramic terminal. It’s proven, handles high temps, and locks in place. No wiggle. No loosening from vibration. That matters when it’s mounted overhead.
Real-World Use
In a damp bathroom or humid workshop, condensation is the enemy of electrical safety. Our design keeps all live parts sealed inside the quartz envelope and ceramic connector. That gives you complete electrical isolation from the environment, so humidity doesn’t touch the heat output. But there is a trade-off: a 2500W unit throws off serious heat. You’ll want to plan the mounting spot and make sure ventilation is in order. We give you the power density. You just need to make sure the surrounding area can handle the warmth.
