How We Built the Hot Yoga Wall Heater: Warmth Without the Glare
We set out to solve a pretty specific problem: how do you crank out intense, body-warming heat in a hot yoga studio without blinding everyone with a harsh, unpleasant glare? Our answer was this high-density infrared halogen heater. It’s all about direct, controlled warmth.
The Power Behind the Heat

The 400V design is for industrial circuits, which keeps the current draw manageable over distance. The 300mm length focuses the heat, giving you a predictable pattern that’s easy to aim and control.
The Materials That Make It Work
Inside, we use a halogen element wrapped in a quartz envelope. Quartz is the star here—it can handle the shock of rapid on-and-off cycling without cracking. The halogen cycle keeps the element clean, so you get steady, consistent heat over time. We also added a special protective coating to the tube. It filters out the harshest short-wavelength light, giving you a spectrum that’s much easier on the eyes. And the connection? It’s a straightforward R7s two-pin end-cap. It’s a proven industrial standard, so it handles the 400V load safely and makes this a simple drop-in replacement for existing R7s fixtures.
