When your curing isn’t even, the coating doesn’t bond properly. Some spots get cooked, others stay raw, and the adhesion just dies. That’s where high-consistency infrared (IR) lamps come into play. Because a tiny voltage drop at the terminal creates a cold spot in your oven. And a cold spot means a peeling part. The Real-World Stuff Now, these lamps pack a massive punch in a small space. They’ll speed up your line, for sure. But keep in mind, they put a real load on your electrical panels. Just make sure your power supply can handle that initial surge when they kick on. Also, a pro tip: keep your reflectors polished. If they’re dirty or crooked, the heat won’t hit the part right, no matter how expensive your lamps are. You’re basically just paying to heat the air. Get the wiring right, space them properly, and that “orange peel” texture disappears. Your paint stays put, even when the parts are put under stress.
