What matters, technically
We build our low-power infrared panel heaters around a carbon fiber heating element. It produces radiant warmth that travels directly to floors, walls, and you—much like the sun. You get comfort almost instantly, with none of the noise or dust that comes with a fan-driven heater. These units run on standard 120V circuits and are built to be energy-smart, typically drawing between 300W and 800W. That’s well below most space heaters, which can pull 1,500W or more. The panels mount flush to the wall, so you keep floor space open and the look clean.
Why it works in a basement
Down here, moisture is the real problem. By gently warming surfaces, the infrared panel helps keep relative humidity in check and cuts that clammy feel. You feel the warmth within seconds of switching it on, and the heat is steady—no drafts. That makes the basement usable again, whether you need it for storage, a workshop, or a quiet corner. The practical details
Installation is straightforward: mount the panel to a sturdy wall using the included brackets and plug it into a grounded outlet. For the best results, position it so it has a clear line of sight to the main area you use. Keep it away from direct water exposure, and don’t cover the face of the unit. Infrared panels are excellent for spot heating, but they aren’t designed as the primary heat source for an entire home.
